"Hello, Dan LeSieur here with DK LeSieur Landscaping maintenance, Washougal, Washington. I was asked to talk to you folks about how to choose grass seed where you live. Well, I live in the Pacific Northwest as I told you Washington. Grass seed is designed for wet, cold weather. You know it rains here every day in the winter. At least people tell you that. You may live in the desert, in Texas somewhere and grass seed there is a lot different. It needs to be designed for the hot dry weather. So, or you may live somewhere like New York where it is really cold and you get a lot of snow on the ground. So you want stop, think about what your going to do with your grass seed as a professional, like somebody at your local feed store. TrueValue type store, something like that or go on to the phone book and call a couple different landscape contractors. It could be under maintenance or landscape construction type stuff and they will tell you what kind of grass seed and then go buy it, install it, let Mother Nature do its best and then you'll have a beautiful lawn."
