Hello Dan here with DK LeSieur Landscape Construction, Washoba, Washington. I've been asked to talk about some fertilizing tips today. In our region here in the Northwest I use this blend it is called a five in one. It is five different components mixed in to make one. It brightens greens your grass. Something that you might want to consider before you go and purchase some fertilizers. Go to your feed store local True Value type store, Home Depot, and ask a professional what you need. You have different needs in your grass. You have some browning ares you need to green them out or you have some other spots. You want to be real careful with the fertilizer, because you could burn it very easy. You could apply too much or your could apply the wrong kind. One kind is a week and feed that will burn your grass or if you have too much iron in it it will burn your grass. So you have got to be careful of a couple of items. And also before you fertilize before you apply any chemical to your grass you want to make sure you water it. Get it nice and wet then go ahead and put your application on there, and water it again once you have it down, and that will give you the best results of your fertilizing.
