"Hi, I'm Warren Cardinal, founder of Lucid Crew, in Austin, Texas. I'm going to show you a quick and easy way to build a slideshow on your website. We're going to start with a default installation of WordPress for this demo. This is a easy way to add a slideshow to your WordPress site with a nice plug-in. WordPress is an open source software that you can install on any hosting account, and you manage your website remotely through WordPress. Once WordPress is installed on your server you can use it to create any kind of site that you'd like. There's a full explanation on how to download and install WordPress at lucidcrew.com/ehow. So, if I go to my dashboard and go to Plugins I'm going to activate the WordPress Gallery Slideshow plug-in that I installed. Once I do that I can go to a post, and if I attach some images to it I'm going to make sure that I save this twice so that it actually is creating a gallery of these photos and attaching them all together onto the site. So, if I wanted to insert the gallery I would do that but I'm not going to do a gallery. I'm going to do the slideshow instead so I'm going to put slide here, and I don't want the slideshow to show up on the homepage so I'm going to put a little intro and do more. This more will cut off that information so it doesn't show anything below it on the homepage. And I'm going to publish that. So then, when I go to the site I'll say this is an intro to the slideshow. I click into it and it will show me my slideshow which is kind of small. It can go full screen. So, my slideshow is kind of small on the page. I want to make it be a little bigger so I'm going to go into the settings of the slideshow. It's under Media, Slideshow, and let's say that I want to make my slideshow be 500 pixels wide, and say 600 pixels tall. Save those changes. Refresh the page. Now, I have a much larger slideshow. So, I can adjust that as I want to. I can also disable full screen mode. So, if I click on it now nothing happens, but I can go from image to image. So, that's it. I can insert any number of slideshows into any post just by attaching the images as a gallery, and putting this little tag called slide into the body of the post.
