Hi, this is Lauden Vergara, and I'm with ABC Bartending Schools here in Miami, Florida. In this clip, we're going to show you how to make a pineapple margarita. Well, what is a margarita? Basically, it is a Mexican drink made with tequila, triple sec, which is an orange flavored liqueur, and sour mix, which is a concentrated lemon-lime real strong, frosty, syrupy ingredient, okay. We want to start off with your nice tank two thirds of the way with ice. Then, we want to get some good tequila; Patron for instance. We're going to add about four counts, four seconds worth of tequila in there, okay. Then, you're going to have some triple sec. Triple sec is that orange-flavored liqueur I was telling you about. It's not very high in alcohol content, but it gives the margaritas a very good flavor. About two counts of that. Then, you're going to add some sour mix. Well, the sour mix comes in bottles. You can find it on any grocery store. Pour some sour mix in there. Well, this is a pineapple margarita so besides your sour mix you're also going to add some pineapple juice to that, okay? Then, you're going to give it a good shake. The sour mix needs to be very well shaken to make your drink taste right. So, you have the option, when you make this drink, to rim the glass with sugar or not to rim the glass with sugar. I'm going to decide not to. You're going to go ahead and pour your pineapple margarita in there, and then to give it a nice look you're going to go ahead and cut a piece of garnish. I'm going to go ahead and cut a nice piece of pineapple and garnish it for your pineapple margarita. I like to take the skin off. It makes it look prettier; a nice refreshing drink for poolside.
