"Hello my name is Karina Hayes Blakeley and I'm with artistrepresentingartists.com. Lets talk about how to become a Gospel singer. I would join a local church group and learn to sing various parts. Really get into your harmonies, work with different people from all backgrounds. Really get into the whole idea of what religious music is and open up your heart. It's really important to be feeling what's in your heart with Gospel music. So I would learn myself to spending more time with people that have been doing it for a while. It's not really a localized thing in terms of you don't really have to move to a city. There are plenty of church groups. If you live in Los Angeles there's many wonderful church groups you can join. There are church groups in every local and every city. So research, you have to do your research. Again it's a very genuine form of singing. So it takes time and practice and I would get out there and sing as much as I can with family and friends."
