How to Find Dish Network Cards

"Hi my name is Bill Barney. I'm with Community Dish in Pahrump, Nevada. I'm an SBCA licensed installer, that's Satellite Broadcast Communications Association and I'd like to help you with your satellite installation. You can find the Dish Network smart card in the satellite receiver box. If you'll notice there are two panels on the box, one on the right, that contains all the operation buttons and in this case a serial port for another device. The Dish Network smart card is located on the left. There is a slot with a card in the slot and you can remove that card and this is what your smart card will typically look like. It looks a lot like a credit card and you'll find that it has a front and a back. On the back of the card is where the contacts are that make contact with the smart card chip that's built into the card itself and that's where you can locate your Dish Network smart card."
