"Hi my name is Tanya Batts. I'm a personal trainer with Gold's Gym. How to do low back exercises with the ball. So you just want to come on the ball, fairly simple, have your hips on the ball. You want to come up. You want to keep the toes down. If you are having issues with keeping the toes down you can put your feet right up against a wall but simple way to start, the fingertips are on the head, you can lift and you can lower or if you want it a little easier, take the arms straight down by your side, palms are down, all you're doing is lifting. That's called a back extension, works the low back. It's getting some butt action too, lifting, lowering. Another one similar, kind of a reverse lift. Hands are on the floor you just want to lift and lower. That's working that low back. Another simple one, kind of the same idea, toes are down. You want to do opposite arm, opposite leg. That's building up those muscles in the back, bringing that rich blood to the low back, rejuvenating all those spinal nerves. So those are just a few great things you can do on the yoga ball that can really help with that low back."
