Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen and in this segment I want to talk all about how to grow plants indoors with light. Now any plant that can grow outside can grow inside with a a light, and you just try to recreate the natural conditions that are outside. If you have tropical plants like Gardenias, they're easy to grow, you just need artificial light and moisture. And my key too, is never let them sit in water but never let them to be too dry either. And sometimes you can put some gravel on the bottom so that there's more moisture, they'll do much better. Now I'm very excited, I got my Phalaenopsis Orchids to bloom again. And just set them in a sunny window with artificial light and pretty much ignored them. And I've used no fertilizers, nothing but natural light and some water. Now make sure that they're moist but never too wet. So even Zinnias and other seeds, you can start indoors as long as you can get enough light, they will grow. So plants need a combination of sun or artificial light, moisture and heat. So as long as they have all those elements, you can grow pretty much any plant indoors with artificial light.
