"Hi, this is Kevin Battersby with battersbygolf.com in Coconut Creek, Florida. In this clip I'm going to show how to do a golf Scramble. The Scramble is probably the most golfer friendly event that you can play in for competition. If you're doing a corporate event and you're still a novice golfer, enter the Scramble. I'll show you the rules, it's nice, it's fun and it's not as taxing as a regular score for a golf. In the Scramble, each player gets to hit from each spot, which makes it easier, it's also called Captain's Choice. So assume this is our first Tee, the first player hits, he knocks it way by. Second player hits, he's also way by, the third player hits it way short. But our fourth player hits it up there, maybe three or four, a couple feet. The first three players are out, the ball that's in play now is this ball here. Again, all four players that were simulating this like a drive, would get to hit the second shot. So if you're in fairway and you hit a long drive like this, all four players get to play from there. The first player may miss the shot in a Scramble, but he's got three other players to come and try that. The second guy misses a shot, he's still got two others on his team to make this. You're only getting one score, the third player strokes it and he makes it, that's your score. The fourth player doesn't have to play now because the ball is going to hold out. So you go to the next hole and do the same procedure. Again, the advantage of Scramble, is that every player gets to hit from the drive, you pick the best drive. Every player gets it from the best second shot there and you pick the best second shot. So typically, you'll score even if you're not real or any hit golfers, will be around par. Because you're getting four drives, four of your best second shots. If you're knocking on the green, you've got four players putting for a Birdie. If you miss the green, you've got four players Chipping, but then the four players can putt that in for a par. This is Kevin Battersby showing how to play a Scramble golf event."
