    "To play an E7 in root position with the seventh in the highest voice in the first position of the guitar neck, place your middle finger on the second fret of the fifth string, your ring finger on the second fret of the fourth string, your forefinger on the first fret of the third string and your pinky on the third fret of the second string. Only play the bottom five strings and your chord should sound like this."
