"To play B-flat Locrian starting on the bottom string A, ascending two octaves, place your forefinger on the bottom string at the 6th fret. Keep in mind that the B-flat Locrian scale is the exact same as the B major scale. It's just that B-flat is the 7th degree, or more precisely the A-sharp is the 7th degree of B major. Your tonicizing that 7th scale degree of B major, rather than the first scale degree of B major of being B. This is B-flat locrian. yYur scale should sound like this. (playing guitar) Once again,a little more slower (playing guitar) now ascending and descending."
