Summary: Making your own slide show or video can be a lot of fun. I'm going to show you how to make a fun slide show using Windows Movie Maker. This program may already exist on your computer, if not, there are free upload sites. This program is so easy to use, that a four year old child can, and did use it on his own. Lets go do it!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Step 1. Finding the program Windows Movie Maker.
    A. Go to your desk top and click START.
    B. click PROGRAMS, click ACCESSORIES, click MOVIE MAKER.
    C. If you don't have the program, go to www.soft82.com/download/windows/windows_Movie_Maker for 2.6 version

  2. Step 2

    Step 2. Have pictures already scanned into your computer picture files.
    A. Look under CAPTURE VIDEO and Click IMPORT PICTURES. This takes you to your computer picture files where you can browse, and import as many as picures as you like.
    B. When you complete your COLLECTIONS, click and drag each picture
    to one of the boxes below, in the order it will seen. You can move the pictures around till you get them way you want them.
    C. You can DELETE the ones you don't want by simply clicking on the box, and pressing delete.

    Step 3. These blue shapes can be used between your pictures for fabulous effects.
    A. Under Edit Movie, click Video TRANSITIONS.
    B. Click & Drag any blue shape to a little box between each picture or two. This gives seperation between the pictures.
    C. Return to COLLECTIONS. Below the boxes is an icon that says SHOW TIMELINE click on this. This blue boxed area is where you will add
    AUDIO, MUSIC, TITLES & CREDITS by simply Click & Drag. This will also tell you how long your movie will be by the number line at the top of the blue box.

    Step 4. You need to be in the timeline blue box to do this step.
    A. Click IMPORT AUDIO/MUSIC. This will take you to your Music Files. Browse files and click on your selections & click IMPORT.
    B. On the left side of the blue box, Click AUDIO. Click & Drag your Music selection from above, to the space where you want it to start in the blue box area, under AUDIO. You may shorten or lengthen your selection, depending on how long it is to begin with, by click & drag from side to side.

    Step 5. Adding Titles & Credits to your movies is so cool, you will love it!
    A. Click on TITLES & CREDITS. A white box will appear dividing it in two. The top space is for your title, the bottom one for anything else you want to add. Press DONE, and you return to your movie screen.
    B. You may change your TITLE ANIMATION or FONT COLOR anytime you are in the Title & Credits page. This can also add fabulous effects to your movies. Experiment with it, it is so much FUN.
    C. You can add more than titles and credits using TITLEs & CREDITS,
    any place on the timeline for any picture. Click on a picture, go to TITLES & CREDITS and add a few short words. It will appear in the timeline below.

    Step 7. Now that you have finished your movie, you can watch and review it in TIMELINE or STORYBOARD.
    A. You can make changes to your movie at any time, be sure to save changes each time you work on it.
    B. If your movie is finished to your satisfaction, click SAVE TO MY COMPUTER & it will save it to your Video Files.
    C. You may want to save it to CD-R or DVD to share with others. Follow instructions on your computer as it goes through this process. Is very easy and takes a little time.
