Step 1
Before you begin, arrange ingredients where they are easy to get to.

Slice and fan out strawberry.
Fanning out a strawberry:
1. make 4-5 incisions from the bottom of the strawberry to the top, cutting almost all the way to the stem.
2. cut off aproximately the last third of the strawberry.
3. gently fan out the remaining two thirds of the strawberry and set aside. -
Step 3
Slice blackberries into quarters.

Step 4
Drop the blackberries into the bottom of the parfait glass.

Step 5
Drip the yogurt over the blackberries with a long thin spoon until it covers them in a full, even layer. Try not to drip on the sides of the glass, in the interest of presentation. (see video)

Step 6
This picture presents the parfait halfway through this step.Add granola in a full even layer, and cover with a full even layer of yogurt using the same dripping technique as step 5.

Step 7
This picture presents the parfait halfway through this step.Add blueberries in a full even layer, one berry thick. Cover with a full even layer of yogurt using the same dripping technique.

Step 8
Crush the shredded wheat squares with the side of the all purpose chefs knife, applying pressure with the palm of the other hand. (on the cutting board)

Step 9
Chop any remaining chunks of shredded wheat squares with the sharp edge of the knife. Sweep the pieces into a narrow pile, and then sweep onto the top of the parfait.

Step 10
Add the fanned strawberry to the top of the parfait and serve.
