"Hey, it's Kevin Schmenk here, from Evolution Bicycles out of Acworth, Georgia. Today, we come to you at Hazard Skatepark, in McDonough, Georgia, and we are going to learn a few tricks on a BMX bike today. For starters, you want to check all the stuff on your bike. Make sure your brakes are working, your tire pressure, things like that. And always remember, safety first, so let's go ahead and put the helmet on. And first things first, we're going to learn how to do a wheelie today. The first thing you want to do is make sure you get on your bike and you're real comfortable. Have a good, straight flatland that you can try this on, and you want to start. Take off pedaling. Kind of stand up, pull forward, and pull up on your bars. Now, as you do that that creates the bars to pull up and that creates the wheelie motion. Now, once you get that down pat in order to do a longer wheelie you just need to find your balance point, which you'll learn over time. It's not going to come the first time, but your balance point is the point where you're perfectly balanced so you're not falling forward and you're definitely not falling backwards. So what you do is once you find that you just circle around like I said. Make sure there's clear of cars and everything, pull up, and then pedal. And when you pedal it gives you more momentum which keeps that balance point easier and easier. Just keep working on that and then you can get a long wheelie and you can wheelie all the way down your street."
