"Hi, my name is Zetta and I'm Bliss and we're at the Junkyard at Hollywood, Florida. Let's talk a little bit about the history of hip hop clothing. Now hip hop clothing basically started probably from break dancing days. It has a little bit of a baggier fit than most styles of clothing and that probably comes from the fact that in break dancing you have to be a little baggy in order to move and have comfort in your movements because you're doing; your leg is coming up to here; I mean obviously, if you had on tight pants, it'll split. So you need to have baggy clothes. A lot of them bring in, that started originating the hip hop clothing didn't even realize they were doing it 'cause people were just buying like extra large clothes that weren't really fitting them and then rappers basically started to take it to the next level by developing their own clothing line and extra large is basically the first size in hip hop clothing. That's a small in regular clothing and then it goes from there. So I think the baggier, the better in hip hop clothing. But where it really started from was break dancing. So they would get Adidas, Nike and they would just bag it out by double XL's and everything and, and from there we have Fubu; Fubu developed and that spread everywhere. Give me some other names; Fubu, Baby Phat; Baby Phat pretty much took over Phat Farm, "Converse, Echo", Converse and it's also about how you wear it. Like here's an example; you have your accessories; accessories are very important in hip hop. It represents you. One day you'll see somebody wearing a bandanna on the back of their shorts; the next day everybody would be wearing it because it's a style of hip hop. Basically, that's the history of hip hop clothing."
