~ Thanks for your vid~! I love all articles about Eyelashes, mascara, as I have really straight lashes and when properly curled makes my eyes look Hugh. The best heated eyelash curler I have ever found is the Hot Lashes eyelash curler, makeup Artist kit. The heater base heats the pad and you donot have to use a blow dryer~. Loved the reviews of Hot Lashes on Amazon and was impressed. There is also a site of the same name Hot Lashes. I love sharing with others about great products. This curler is exactly like the Shu Uemura curler with a 24k gold plated curler and this small heater base. Keeps my lashes curling till the next day. HTH~

Hello, my name is Miriam Behar with makeupartistmiriam.com. In this clip I am going to show you how to heat an eyelash curler. You'll need a metal eyelash curler. Although you can do this to the plastic type as well. The metal type heats up easier. You have to be very careful with this though since it is metal it will heat up very quickly and it can also burn your skin by your eyes if you are not careful. So you'll need a hair dryer. Turn it to the lowest setting and warm and point it at the area that will be contacting the eye. So that's going to be this area right here. So now your lash curler is heated and ready to be used. You'll place it very carefully at the base of your eyelashes and then close it. Be very careful not to pinch your skin between the area of the rubber and the metal. It can be very easy to catch your skin which can be quite painful. So just make sure that you are only closing it on y our eyelashes. Again be very careful around the eye area because it can be very easily injured. The skin is much thinner then on the rest of your face. So basically if you have a plastic one at home and you wanted to heat the plastic one, the procedure would be the same except you would concentrate on the rubber area because that would be the area that would get the hottest rather then the plastic. You don't want to melt the plastic of the curler. And you only really want to keep the heat on for about five seconds. This has been Miriam Behar thanks for watching.
