"Hello my name is Miriam Behar with makeupartistmiriam dot com. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to apply three shades of eyeshadow. You are going to need a medium shade, a light shade and a darker shade for the crease. For the purposes of this demonstration, I'm going to use all matte colors but you can also use a lighter color and a shimmer as well for night time or if you just want that extra sparkle. I am going to start by applying the lighter shade with a flat eyeshadow brush just like this. Just pressing the brush into the product and then applying it just on the brow bone to give a little bit of highlight. Just pressing the color into the eye area. You don't really want to sweep as that can have the effect of rubbing the color off. And it's a good idea to do both eyes as you go along so they turn out even and you have a good idea of the amount of color that you put on each of your eyes. Once the edges are blended you can go and select another clean eyeshadow brush for the medium shade. I'm going to use a pointed eyeshadow brush like this. Pick up a small amount of product on the brush and then just apply it on the corner of the eye in circular motion and along the lash line as well, just being careful to blend. Everything very softly. And then you want another brush for the darker shade also and you are going to apply that just on top of the medium shade. Go ahead and open your eyes. And then you just blend the darker color. Go ahead and open your eyes. And that's how to apply three shades of eyeshadow. This has been Miriam Behar thanks for watching."
