"Hi this is Mark the Shark in Miami Beach, Florida from marktheshark.com. On this clip I'm going to show you how to pick a reel for the rod. This particular rod and reel is basically set up for live bait fishing, light tackle spinning rod. This is for a fish probably under 50 pounds, spinning reel, 20 pound test, mainly light tackle. If you want to go a bigger game fishing go your next step up, conventional reel made for like 50 to 100 pound test, maybe 100 to 150 pound fish, big tarpon like we just caught a minute ago, a lot of sharks in the 150 pound class range and maybe some small blue marlin. If you want to go to your next class of tackle you can go over here and this is basically big game fishing. This is the unlimited class. This is a 300 pound test on this rod. This can catch probably any fish that swims in the ocean right here. This particular rod requires you to be in a fighting chair where the other rods you can use stand up tackle, you can use fighting belt, you don't have to be in the chair to use these other rods but this particular rod you must be strapped in otherwise you'll be in trouble. There is no way you can lift this rod with a big fish. The price range on the spinner rods, a good spinner rod will probably cost you about $100 to $150 for the complete outfit. If you go to the mid range conventional outfits probably cost you anywhere from 3 to $500 and you can go all the way up to the big game outfits which is right here. This can cost you anywhere from 2 to maybe $4,000 so there's a big big range of prices depending on what kind of fish you want to catch so that's what you are looking for in terms of various fishing rods and reels. I'm Mark the Shark. Thanks for watching."
