"Hello, my name is Stefanie, I work with CMIT Solutions and today I'm going to show you how to convert a bitmap to an icon. Here we're in WindowsXP Professional operating system. In order to convert a bitmap to an icon you'll need a converter program which you can download from Google such as ZylBitmap to Icon. Here we've already downloaded the application from Google and we have installed the launch for Windows operating system. In order to convert the bitmap to a icon you just open up the ZylBitmap to Icon application, choose file, open and choose your bitmap, double click on your bitmap and it will appear in your icon converter application. Choose file and convert, choose a name and leave the save as type to icons and save. You will then have the new icon which was originally your bitmap. And just remember it's as easy as that. Simply open up your bitmap, use your icon converter application and save it to your favorite place on your computer. And that's how you convert a bitmap to an icon."
