"Hi everyone, this is Jake Sharp with Sharp Guitar Works. Real quickly we're going to go over how to tune your guitar in what's known as DADGAD. Which is probably the most popular alternate tuning out there which starts with, once again a low D on the sixth string. So you're tuning down, down from E to D. And the name DADGAD, all that means is all the, is the notes that everything is tuned to in your A. A string stays the same, so does your D, your higher D string, the fourth string. And your G string, the third string also stays the same, and the second string goes down to A from B, so a full step drop there. And then your High string, which generally, normally is an E, goes down to D, also another full step. And there we are, it's just very useful for, with solo playing and the whole Celtic thing is really popular with DADGAD. A one note jump."
