"When picking father-daughter and mother-son dances, you'll want to keep to something that might mean something to you guys, maybe a song that you grew up with but try and stay away from songs that might make you cry. There's a lot of songs out there because it is an emotional day that might really make you guys get into something where you are blubbering and you don't want that but you do want to keep to something that is possibly a slower dance and enjoy the moment together. For some examples of the daughter-father dance "Butterfly Kisses" is a good one. Some new stuff out of country music is really popular like "Stealing Cinderella" by Chuck Wicks is a great first dance for the daughter and father. Some suggestions for the mother-son dances could be something that you guys used to listen to music together growing up with. A lot of people grew up listening to The Beatles, like for instance "Let It Be" or even like "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band" is something you guys can have a lot of fun at dancing together. Keep it to something where you guys are going to enjoy the moment because sometimes there is blended families and maybe the dance you are doing with your father he might be your step-father or something just make sure you guys share in the moment together and really enjoy it. You might actually think about taking some dance lessons for that as well."
