How to Draw Exotic Cars

"Hello I am Jacklyn Laflamme from jacklynlaflamme.com. In this clip I am going to show you how to draw an exotic car. I am going to start off by just drawing very simple shapes, and from these simple shapes the exotic car will emerge. So you can see we are just going to draw just a few lines. This is going to be a view looking forward at the car, the front of the car. And from here we are just going to do a little half circle. From this we can just do two little lines that come out like this, and then two lines that come down. So we are almost creating like a diamond shape without continuing on the diamond. And then we will just join this line across here. From there we are just going to put in two little rectangles that are going to come just a little bit further down than that front line. Again, another rectangle just on this side here, and we will join that there. Then we are going to put in one more rectangle, one long skinny rectangle over here. So far that was easy. On top of this we can draw just another little half circle line that will follow this line here, and from there we will draw two more lines connecting it up here. You starting to see the shape of the car? Alright, then we are going to go back here, and we are going to add two more little lines, and one more little tiny rectangle. So you see we have basically drawn in the whole car just using very, very simple shapes. Now we are going to go ahead, and add in a little bit more detail. So we are going to draw a few more lines here up like this, and across, and down. And that looks like the front seat, doesn't it? And another half circle that will show the steering wheel, and then we can come in, and just really start to add a little bit more detail. We can add some lines across to bring out the tires. You see how fast and easy just a few lines, and you really can start to see the shape of the car now. And again we can divide this, and create the front grill, and add some lines going this way just to create a little bit more detail. And maybe put a little insignia here for the front of the car, and a little bit more detail. A few more lines. Then if we want we can add the rear view mirrors, and you can see it is just as simple as putting in two little rectangles, and we have got our rear view mirrors. And then we can just add a few little lines to show the glass, a little cross here, and we will draw a little line here so our car is going to be driving down the road.
