"Hey it's Kevin Schmick again here at Hazard County Skate Park riding for Evolution Bikes and today we're going to discuss basically how to ride Vert. A Vert ramp is pretty much a pipe that's cut in half. It's got vertical side, on each sides and you come in and you just kind of 180 and you flow back and forth. And basically it looks something like this and that's an example of riding Vert. As far as riding Vert goes, you kind of just want to come up and you want to stay as smooth as you can and it keeps your momentum up. You just kind of go up on the side and you bunny hop right at the top, 180, come down and as you come down, once you touch the ramp, you pump which carries your momentum to the next side. And you just continue, just like a continuous pattern and once you keep doing it you get higher and higher and once you're in the air longer, you can do more and more tricks."
