"Hello, hello this is Tom Sapp; Tom Sapp Photography. I would like to tell you today how to use a polarizing filter. This is a polarizing filter. You can see it looks very, very dark when you look it with your eye and the purpose of using a polarizing filter is to bring out color for one. It actually enhances color in your images; so you're doing landscapes; it's going to make those, those greens that are in there look a lot more, a lot more deep. It's a little bit more rich colors. So and also one of the ways that it does that is it takes the reflection or the, any kind of haze or reflective surfaces; like say you have your photograph in water and there's a, kind of a reflection on the water that you don't want to be there, you can use this. You put it in front of your lens. It simply screws on, it has threads here in the back and then you turn it. Okay. And when you turn it, it changes the angle on; because the front of this is actually at an angle; so when you turn it, it's, it's very very slight; you can probably can't really see it with your eye. But it actually changes the angle of the glass in, in relation to the reflection that's on the water or whatever surface that you've got that has the reflection on it. So you can use this to get rid of those reflections if you wanted to. But that's; Tom Sapp Photography; "How to, how to use a polarizing filter?" Thank you so much."
