"Hi! My name is Paul Louis. I'm a professional puppeteer living here in Miami, Florida. I'm going to show you how to create a cute, little finger puppet just by using some of the things that we have right here. Let's work on the face first. Let me take a little Styrofoam ball like this and we're going to simply add on some features to this character. The first thing I want to do is add on some eyes. I have this little Velcro adhesive tabs here and all you need to do really is just stick them on the ball and create the eyes exactly the way you want. I like to put my eyes close together like that. We're going to add a nose now on this character so I'm going to take this little wooden circular tab here and again you could also use the adhesive tabs or a piece of foam rubber. Just carefully dab on a little piece of hot glue. Be very careful, you don't want to burn yourself, and stick it right there in the middle and remove any excess glue it might have. Now, he needs some mouth also, doesn't he? So, again, Velcro tabs. Here's a black one, circular one, I'll put right there as if he's going, ohhhhh, or why not use smaller one if you want. You get a smaller mouth, still going, ohhh, but with a smaller mouth. How about we add a little bit of hair to this character? I'm going to take our hot glue gun, dab a little bit right on the top of the Styrofoam ball and take a little bit of boa, a little snippet of feather boa and apply it right to the top of the head. Now, he's got a silly head of hair, right there. Let's move on to the body. You can use anything for the body. You could use material. I'd like to use red rubber like this. As you can see, I put a little line down here to tell me where I need to put my hot glue so I'm going to put a strip of hot glue down this line and then I'm going to fold this being very careful not to burn myself and kind of hold it down until it dries in place. Okay, so the body is nicely glued in place and I'm going to glue the head on top of the body. So, I'm going to take my hot glue and I'm just going to put it on the edges of the top of the torso, gotta take my puppet head, stick it right there. I'm going to hold him close until it dries. Now, if you want to get a little fancy with this finger puppet, you could draw on a little tie and a shirt and some pants, kind of like the way I did here. You can add some pipe cleaners for orange if you want but that's a simple, easy way to make a finger puppet. So, go out and have some fun with your finger puppets. This has been Paul Louis, thank you for watching."
