"Hi! My name is Ellwood Decker and I am with Just Boni at Home in La Quinta, California, and I'm here today to talk to you about registering for furniture. We have our guest coming to the shop and ask about registering for furniture, I always like to recommend them to go to a home lifestyle store. They have a wide array of eclectic and current pieces that are very relevant today and I think are very timeless pieces and they have these kinds of stores have the ability to be able to ship so it makes it very easy for your guest to be able to look at what you registered for, make their choice based on their budget and have the store ship it to your address. So, in closing when going into these shops and you are looking to decide what your style might be. That's the most important thing that you really have to, the most important thing that you really have to think about. What your style is, how you like your home, how you live in your home and how you entertain will be the key points that you will think about when coming up with the types of things that you are going to ask your guest to possibly get for you. So, I always tell our guest or our shoppers that, you know, todays lifestyle's a lot more casual, a lot of people have children so you want to keep that in mind, you know, young couple, if they are registering we want to think about the types of things that can go for a long time, deal or keep up with children and changing taste. And I always like to suggest that price is not necessarily closing or a deal breaker. You're much better off maybe picking something a little more expensive that will have longer lasting, a long lasting effect for your environment than something less expensive. You always want to look at the construction of the furniture because it's a durable good it is a little more expensive than other gifts that you would register for. Another aspect or materials not only you want to look for good woods and fine veneers but you also think about upholstery and the fabrics that are used for the for the furniture. When registering for your fabric choices, think about the type of lifestyle that you're going to live, whether it's very casual and you have a lot of people that you entertain with or you have a small apartment and you don't have very many guest. Leather's always a great choice, it's a little more expensive but if it's a good leather, it will wear with time and look even better. Another aspect if you have a very casual lifestyle, you would possibly think about slip covers, you can register for slip covers, canvass is a great alternative, it will wear, it can be taken off and washed and you will always have fresh-looking, fresh-looking furniture and in time you can always get a different set of slip covers so it really makes the furniture choice a lot more long lasting.
