"Hello my name is Angeline-Marie from Angelinemarie.net. And today we're learning about canvas painting. In this clip I'm going to show you how to draw fairies on canvas. Fairies are super fun I've just learned. Basically painting a figure. And she is going to be sitting with her back behind us, back to us. We're going to make her dress blue. And we think she's wearing a dress. She could be wearing a shirt. And her back is to us. Just painting her figure. And she's sitting on the grass. And she's holding herself. She's thinking of somebody. Either in a sad way or she's just thinking and she's holding her knees up to herself. And here's the grass. Because most fairies they like the outdoors. You could put a story to her later. And she's sitting here, can't really tell where her arms are. Her back is to us. And I'm going to make her hair black. Just because with some tones of brown, just because I can. And she's sitting here with her back to us. Her knees are drawn up to her chest. Adding a little black for shadows. And it's okay that the paint is going to be a little wet right now. We don't mind. We're going to go ahead and put some gold on her. And the gold is for her wings. And we're okay with the colors coming through because fairy wings are transparent. You think you see them and then you don't. And she's sitting there pensively thinking of somebody she loves. And her wings are opening and closing. I'm making her wings gold just for fun. It can be any color you want. Silver, bronze. It can show rank, age, anything you'd like. And a little bit of her dress is showing through in her hair. Add a little bit of bronze just to be fun. Just to add some shadows. They've got to come from somewhere. And there she is. Sitting on the grass thinking of somebody in her blue dress. Add some highlights to her hair. A little bit of blue sky. She could be in a forest. She could be in the middle of the city park. We just don't see her. Oops. That's alright. I'll make that part of her atmosphere. She's also might be shaking her head. And there she is. The little fairy. Of, I don't know, anywhere you want. Thinking of somebody she loves. And I'm going to go ahead and lighten up the sky because I like her too much. There she is. A little bit of a hint. And thank you for joining us. This is Angeline."
