"Hello, I'm Shane Jackson with Evolution Bike Company. We have been in business for about three years and I have about twenty years experience in cycling. Today we're going to be talking about how to install handle bars on a bicycle. The first thing you want to do is you want to figure out exactly which bar suits your riding style. This one is more for downhill racing, free riding and dirt jumping. This bar is a little bit more heavy duty so it really all depends on which bar is going to be good for your riding style. Now we'll start to show you how to remove a handle bar from a bicycle. First of all what you're going to do is you're going to take a number five Allen Wrench which is about the average of most sizes for a bicycle for handle bar removal. You're going to start by removing the face plate, loosen the top and loosen the bottom. You are going to remove the screws completely and when this one gets to the end you're going to hold it. You don't want to drop the bar it could injure the cables. At this point when the bar is down you're going to make sure that the cables of the bike stay on either side of the frame upon reattaching your new bar. Before that you're going to want to remove the shifters, the brakes right here, hidden right behind this lever and the bar ends and the grips. Once we remove all those you're going to install those exactly the way you took them off on the new bar. At this point you're going to reattach it and keep it centered on the serrated edges, put the face plate back with the screws already in the face plate. If you hold your thumb there then you can attach this pretty easily just by attaching the screws."
