"Hey it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here. You know when the standard iPhone ring tone just won't do; you need something poppy, something more modern; well I'm here to help you out. I'm going to show you how to use iTunes to convert your purchased songs into ring tones for your iPhone. First thing we want to do is launch iTunes; I'm going to go down here to purchase 'cause that will tell me the ones that are purchased through iTunes and available to make ring tones out of. I'm going to select Paralyzer by Finger Eleven up here and I'm going to right click or two fingers down if you're using a laptop and simply go to create ring tone. Click on that and you're going to see that it's going to load; it's negotiating with the, with the iTunes store here and now let's take a listen. By hitting preview we can hear the selection. Okay. Now what we can do is sort of grab this and what we have is a fifteen second window here which we can make longer or shorter up to forty seconds and we can begin it anywhere we want to in the song. If we want the head to be the where our ring tone, ring tone is, we start it there. We'll let's say we want it somewhere in the middle here. Now looping, we can choose to have a gap between that loops up from a half a second all the way to a five second gap if you want to and once you've previewed it know you want to, boo, click buy your ninety nine cents poor button, your new ring tone will appear right here in your ring tone categories. And that's pretty much it. Choose your favorite purchase song; now remember it's important that not all songs purchase off on iTunes can be turned into ring tones. When you go to make that purchase you'll see a little bell next to your selection and that will let you know if your first ninety cents you want to spend will also let you into it. Now here's the other thing to remember is this that once you purchased it there is still a separate purchase of ninety cents for most to turn into a ring tone. So it is right to manage; when you own it once, you don't necessarily own it for the rights for the ring tone. But it's just that easy using iTunes to turn your favorite song into a ring tone for the iPod."
