"Hi! My name is Elena Maria Garcia and I'm with Bluedog Acting School for Kids in Miami, Florida. In this clip, I'm going to give you some acting tips and techniques. In many different schools of acting, there is a school of organic, you know, feeling out. Most actors they go to rehearsals, they kind they know their lines and they slowly develop their character through what is being experienced on stage. There are other techniques which are truly based on technique of repetition, doing something over and over and over again 'till it is completely inside your muscle memory and you will not forget it. Many directors in really like directing and working like that so that the actor does not have to think about anything else that they're doing because it's already innate. Some directors like to you know, hey, let's feel this out, you know, let's get into this and you have to trust the fact that you're going to have different directors all the time, different ways of approaching it. But you, you need to figure out, what is your buffet? What do you, what do you like and what makes you the actor that you are? Vocal, you have to always be warmed up, physically warm up, vocally warm up, okay? There are different types of vocal warm ups, humming, doing your scales, aaaaaaaaa, and also physically warming up, many people have to do yoga, they also like to stretch. Some actors like to do very vigorous, tight, fast, warm ups to get to get jacked up. Some physical warm ups that I like to do are, real nice, long stretches. I like to really stretch myself out completely all the day and my back, my legs because you actually hold a lot of tension in your legs and in your hands and arms. So, you really stretch acquisition not the worst of being on stage and your leg going crazy and your arms and you shake, that's what you want to do. Vocally, you also want to some sort of expansion of your diaphragm, so breathing taking big, deep breaths, holding it and then releasing, haaaaaaaaaaaa for as long as you can, 'till all the air goes out. And also exercise your mouth, A, E, I, O, Uah, and make sure that everything is nice and relaxed. Again, this has been Elena Maria Garcia and thank you for watching."
