Excessive sweating in a human being can be signs and symptoms of heart attacks, severe medical problems, fever in which you're sweating to cause the fluids on your skin to evaporate and chill the body down. The response to pain can cause you to sweat. Some people have a condition in which the sweat glands just produce more sweat than others and cause them to sweat very frequently. And there are certain medications that you can receive from your physician to help control that. The other reasons for sweating profusely such as pending heart attack, pain, things like that, you should check out with your physician and have them diagnose the problem and treat it. Well sweating mostly occurs in human beings where there are collections of sweat glands which are mostly in your armpits, your groin, your palms, your feet. And they're scattered throughout the body but concentrated in these areas. Using an antiperspirant helps reduce the amount of sweat these glands produce. But in that case sometimes the antiperspirant, if it's a waxy or pasty material, can actually cause problems with sweat glands by clogging up the pores that open out on the skin to allow the sweat to drain from the gland and this can lead to infections of the sweat glands or hydradenitis which can be kind of a severe problem causing abscesses under the arm and in the groin. But most people use antiperspirants to reduce the amount of sweating that they normally have in the areas such as their armpits, bottoms of their feet and some can apply it to their groin if they feel they sweat too much there.
