"Hi, this is Eric Sterns, with Expert Village. We're talking about a knife sheath construction, for some traditional leather work. Right now, what we're looking at, is the drying process, of the sheath, and the ability to make some adjustments, when needed. So, we've got out knife sheath here, that has been drying for awhile, it's been drying for maybe half a day or so. The leather is starting to set up, it's starting to harden and what we're going to be doing then, is we're going to be kind of looking at the sheath and seeing where things are with it, as far as the shape, and if we need to, for some reason, we can loosen it, remove it from the clamps and say, for example, we just don't like the way that the opening is working, we can then push the knife a little bit further back into the sheath, if it's closing a little too loosely, and that will allow us to have a better fit, for the blade so that when you hold it upside down, after it's dry, it shouldn't just fall out, it should stay kind of snug, in the sheath. These are some adjustments that we can make, on an ongoing basis, as we actually construct the sheath and then we just simply put the knife and the sheath, back in the clamps and let it dry, for the rest of the way, for the duration of the time it needs. So, that's basically the system of adjustment. It's very free form, it's pretty much whatever you need, as you need it."
