How to Change the Ip address

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the Start Menu.

  2. Step 2

    Open the Control Panel.

  3. Step 3

    After you opened the Control Panel, open the icon that says "Network and Sharing Center".

  4. Step 4

    Click on the button that says "Manage network connections"

  5. Step 5

    Right click on the icon that says "Local Area Connection" then click on the "Properties" button.

  6. Step 6

    After you do all those instructions then click on the file that says "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)".

  7. Step 7

    After you click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" then click on the "Properties" button.

  8. Step 8

    In some windows there are more than one option of "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", like in the Windows 98 there is only one but in the Windows XP there are two so you can check which one is for Ip address.

  9. Step 9

    Now you can change the Ip however you want. After you changed the Ip address, press the OK button.
