"Kayak tricks. The tricks that I am going to show you today has to do with one is called the cartwheel. It's where I throw the bow of my boat down bringing up the stern up over my head and slicing it back into the water behind me and continuing the process. You can link one cartwheel to the next, to the next, to the next. The other trick is doing a bow stall. That's driving your boat down so the bow is into the water and then just kind of stalling like a duck looks like when it's feeding. The tail is up and the head of the boat is down and it is just balancing there. This is done by a few forward paddle strokes. I lift my feet up and then driving my feet down into the water using the paddle as balance and a little bit of perches to allow the boat to stall out and the last trick I am going to show you is called the back deck roll. That's where I take the boat and I roll using my back deck. This is used for a quick roll to come back up and allow you to quickly get back into the river current to do more tricks."
