"Freestyle kayaking. Freestyle kayaking is the art of performing tricks in and on the water. Usually using the currents and the water in the river. There are holes, hydraulics, that allows you to do almost like a ballet routine. Doing cartwheels, flips, standing the boat on its bow for a while. And there's also a lot of different specialized tricks that are out there. Freestyle kayaking came about when someone took their boat and put it into a place on the river where they really weren't supposed to and the boat jumped out of the water doing these things called enders, standing on end. And it progressed from there where people decided that they wanted to do this. So freestyle kayaking is a wonderful sport. It's where you, in a specialized kayak like this kayak right here, where there are, the ends are low, the front and the back, allowing you to slice through the water to perform easier on these tricks."
