"Hi! My name is Nancy Hoffmann-Allison with Allison's Events in Austin, Texas. We're full service event and wedding planning company. My colleague Michelle Bromley is here with me today and our subject is Mediterranean decor tips. Michelle chose her color palette today and she's chosen the colors of the Mediterranean sea. We have the beautiful cobalt blue and the teal blue and if you've ever been to the Caribbean or the Mediterranean you'll know these blues are just vibrant and change colors all the time. For our props we've chosen to use mosaic mirrored mirrors. They are actually mirrors that I bought for plate covers rather than for mirrors, they're unique and different. We also have hanging in the trees, we have mosaic candle holders and if you go through the countryside in the Mediterranean you'll see a lot of mosaic tile work everywhere you go. You will also see a lot of iron work and that's why we chose the bottled holders and that was why we chose our lanterns and that is something that brings the whole look together. In our garden, you'll see a lot of pottery and that also helps add to the theme and the decor and the mood. We brought out a little rustic country cart that we filled with flowers and plants and that is just to give you the feeling that you are actually in the Mediterranean. The flowers were chosen in a multicolor with lots of wild flower look to them because that would be what you would see in the countryside going through Italy, France thing and so we felt that that was a very important element to add. The chairs that we've chosen for our theme today are called chivalry chairs and all of our props here were donated kindly by a wonderful rental company here in Austin, Texas called Marquee Tents and Events. They have gold, silver, white, black, front wood and I think that's all, the different colors chivalry chairs you can choose from. So, no matter what your color palette, you can choose a chair that fits what you've decided to do. The chairs tie today are a cobalt, linen is a beautiful teal. I think there are other companies that might even call it a seam nest, any kind of blues that you want to mix together would work for the same kind of theme. You could also go with other vibrant colors like the color of the bougainvillea that you see in the countryside and go with that hot, vibrant raspberry pink so they're just a multitude of colors that you could choose from if you want to go with this thing."
