How to Decorate With Streamers

"Hi my name is Tawana Henderson, owner and coordinator with Dreams Come True. Today I am here to talk to you about how to decorate using streamers. Now streamers can be used in many different ways. You can use streamers to decorate from your ceiling, also you can use streamers in a doorway, and you can also use streamers in a window. Just so that the guest can see as they are coming up to your house to see that this is where the party is. And another thing streamers can also be used just hung to separate a room. Let's say if you have one thing going on on the other side, or just to kind of keep guest from going to a certain area you can have streamers coming down from the ceiling. Now when you are using the streamers you can use different color streamers here. And streamers can be purchased at your party stores, at Wal-mart, Target, different kinds of big box stores, or even fabric stores have some streamers. Now you can always use different colors that way you get like a two tone. And this one here particularly is like a three toning effect here. And the way you are going to do that you are going to get them all of even length. I'm just going tear some off just to kind of give you an idea. These may not be exactly the same length, but when you are decorating you want to get them all at a even length. And one thing you want to do here, and you can do it as you are going along with just two, you want to get a piece of tape and secure them together so that they don't come a loose here. Let's just kind of put something here to hold it on the end. So we are using a pink, white, and a yellow. We're going to attach the pink one here. Okay, then you are just going to start twisting them, and when you are doing your twist you want to make sure that they are going the same direction. You want to twist it, and then you can start to see like the double effect here. Just kind of keep twisting, and then just to kind of give you the effect of things I want to tape it as if we were taping it to the ceiling here, I'm just going to tape it to the baby's picture right here. Okay, and then we are just going to twist it here. As you can see we have the streamer all twisted here going from one end, and you can just secure it on the other end as such. And there you have decorating with streamers."
