"Hi I'm Robin with Images of Austin here in Austin, Texas. Visit us on the web at imagesofaustin.com. O'kay today we're going to talk about how to cut glass for a picture frame. Here is your frame. You want to have, you always want to have your frame first. Then you want to measure the inside of the frame. In this case it is going to be an 8 X 10. O'kay we're going to cut some glass now and we want to cut it 8 X 10. Now this is called a wall mounted glass cutter. Don't forget to put on your safety glasses. These are attractive, aren't they? We're cutting a piece 8 X 10. I'm going to start out this time with the 10 inch measurement as you see here. You want to set your glass wheel right on the edge of the glass, holding the glass and score and break, flip the glass around, it doesn't matter which side. Then we're going to cut the 8 inch side, setting it at 8 inches, score and break. Now you can see that your glass fits in your frame. As you can see it doesn't have to be absolutely perfect. It has got a little rough edge. It is not going to show but it's not going to show because it is going to be behind the lip of the frame. All you have to do is clean the glass and we're done. Thank you this is Robin at Images of Austin. Don't forget if you don't get your framing done here fine a good framer and when you get it hung, make sure it's straight. Thank you."
