"Hi I'm David Dubail owner of Dubail Fitness Institute in Miami, Florida. In this clip, I am going to show you how to use weight lifting equipment. Weight lifting equipment is great, it's a standby, and it should be a regular part of your exercise routine. This is a great piece, it's a functional unit where you can do a lot of different pieces, a lot of different exercises on it. Three things is you got, most of them are always going to have an adjustable, so you want to put it to your height. Ok, if you are tall you can bump it up here. Second thing is you always just want to select the weight, you always want to start light, because based on the pulley system that will really determine how much weight it's going to be. So each machine will be different just if you used weight at one gym it may be totally different then the weight you used at another. So you always want to start pretty conservative at and plus it's a good way to warm up. So you are going to lock your elbows and you are just going to press it down. Everything should be moving smooth and if you need to change the exercise like right into superset like a bicep curl, make sure it's locked into place, spin the handle around and you can just start with the biceps again. You always want to keep your hands away from any moving parts at your..boom. And when it's all set, same thing you want to reload. A lot of times when you are going to do flies, you see a lot of mistakes when guys don't line up the numbers right or the holes right so they are both even. So here we know they both have fives so we know we are good. You can go like right into a cable fly. And everything should be smooth just like that. The thing to remember when using weight lifting equipment is that it can be you know intimidating to come up when you are going into the gym and to see the equipment. Most of the machines are going to have exercises description and if they don't you just have to remember to start with light weight, make sure everything is secured and locked in and then just test it out. And usually there will be a trainer there to help you or assist you and show you through. Once again this is David Dubail thanks for watching."
