"This is Carlos Mendez with Shameless Skateboards out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this clip I'm going to show you how to do a double kick flip. The key to learning double kick flip, is learning kick flip, of course. Double kick flip is just an involved version of the kick flip, which is adding two more rotations rather than one. So the key to learning double double kick flip is, once you've got your kick flips down, back foot catch or front foot catch, whatever it might be. You want to, when you pop and flick, you want to flick extra hard and fast but the same time, you want to spread the front foot, so give it time to have it's double rotation. Now a big problem with the double kick flip is, catching it one and a half spins and catching it like this. Now that might get frustrating as you can tell, from trying a double kick flip. But just learning how to jump higher and flicking out a little more, you'll have double kick flips down. Now let's check out a skater doing that in real time. One more important thing to remember about double kick flips. Double kicks flip can be a very frustrating trick for the fact, just that sometimes you don't extend your foot too far or you don't pop high enough or you keep catching it upside down, and only letting it flip up, once. And in most cases, sometimes you back foot slips off and you know, you do a split. But just remember with every trick in skateboarding, you have to give it time and dedication. Once again, this is Carlos Mendez and thank you for watching."
