"Hi I'm Richard Petty and I'm a photographer in St. Louis and this is about photography props. I don't use a lot of really fancy props like the dates and those kind of things, but one essential prop to have is some boxes. And they can be of various sizes but they're really good for helping you to pose people. Sometimes you can stack the boxes and bring people up higher and down lower. Another prop that I like to use is this one for posing children. Little children, just when you get them posed and by the time you get behind your camera, they're gone. So it's better if you have something that you can make them sit down in and rather than it being a chair that looks kind of ordinary, having a nice little park bench, a baby park bench or something like this. The other prop I use a lot with kids is stuffed animals and it's nice to have these and also some things that squeak. I don't happen to have one right now but that's great for getting kids to look at your camera. And those are the kind of props that I generally use with pictures."
