"Hi, I'm Richard Petty, I'm a photographer in Saint Louis and this is Toddler Photography Ideas. When I take picture of toddlers, I really am not involved in posing them because they're just aren't going to pose. What you do is, you give them a stuffed animal to play with and tell them if they do a good job they'll get to play with the animal for awhile. But the other important thing is to just let them play and take pictures of them. I usually put my camera on a tripod. I have it up too high here, but I want to have it down low at the toddler's eye level. Then I need a remote control because by the time you get the toddler where you want them and get around behind your camera, they're gone. So I can take a picture with a remote control and my camera will j take picture after picture while they're going. That's probably the most important tips that I can give you for toddler photography, just let them play and take a lot pictures of them as they play and have a remote control so that you don't have to be behind the camera to take the pictures and enjoy taking the pictures of the toddlers."
