"Hi, I'm Jan. Today, I'm going to talk to you about crochet embroidery techniques. One of the beauties of using crochet, is that your finished product is very rectangular, and it creates the nice little square. It's very similar to a needlepoint canvas, and we can use those guidelines to add any sort of embroidery design to your work. You do it just like you do any other embroidery. I'm using embroidery floss, along with a piece of crochet, and just creating whatever design you want. I'm going to select this for the center point, for my flower. You bring it up, it goes back down into the hole, to make the petal. It comes up one of these pieces here to join the top of the embroidery flower, like that. Make another petal, come up the hole, make the loop. Go back down the hole, go to the top to secure it. Any embroidery technique will work. I'm Jan, and this is my crochet embroidery technique."
