"Hi I'm Brandi Mackenzie and today I'm going to show you how to clean your stamps with the ink on them. A lot of people use just a baby wipe and they seem to think that that's okay. What I'm going to tell you is it's okay for the short term but you really need to use a cleaner. I use Stampin' Up Stampin' mist and I mean there's other ones on the market but you want to use something that has been specifically designed for your rubber stamps. And the reason is, is it has a conditioner in it so it keeps your rubber conditioned. And if you just use baby wipes all the time you're going to dry out your stamps. And you'll start to see cracks in them. And they'll ruin in essence. And so what you do is basically you want your stampin' mist and then you want a scrubby pad. And all you do is spray it up, rub it really good and your stamp is clean. Now if your pad is dirty, it's okay. Just make sure you stamp there and as I do that the ink's all gone. Run this under some water and let it sit to dry. And then also there is a cleaner called Stays On cleaner. And these are good for when you're using your Stays On ink pads but they are also really good because the basic black ink, the basic black ink can sometimes be a little bit difficult to get off with just your normal, your normal ink. And so let me show you. I have a little stamp here and there's a little bit of black ink on it. And all you do with this is that's how it looks, you just rub it. But after you're done letting it sit you just take your pad and you rub it again. And it, as you can see, came really clean. And so there you go. That is how you clean your rubber ink, or your rubber stamp pads."
