"Hi, this is Carlos Navarro, I'm an artist here in Miami, Florida. In this clip I'll give you some flower painting techniques. I don't like me really using too many colors, I like to stick with the basics, I use Burnt Umber. And then I make a decision as to what flower I'm going to paint, I use the burn umber to outline everything. And in this case, I've decided to go with basically, flower of my own choosing. And what I'm doing, is creating a flower that has some beautiful petals. You can make a decision as to what you think that looks like, to me, just a different flower. There are so many flowers, you can probably find something that looks like this eventually. You've got basically a flower, there's the stem, you've got some, some beautiful leaves coming across, and let's put a center, center to that flower. O.k., now once you've got that flower done, you've got to add some color, I decided to make mine, red. And literally, you're just going to basically put the inside like this, and make it red. But that's just one type of flower, you can actually paint the inside yellow if you like. That's one type of flower, let's suppose you've got little tiny flowers, like this. You just want to make the brush flat, like that, you leave a center, maybe make it yellow again, you've got yourself a little flower. So in reality, there's a lot of things you can do. Keep it simple, it doesn't have to be anything special, in terms of, what type of flower it is, you can create very beautiful flowers. Here's another one, you can create, just by doing that. And you can do a Carnation, make, this'll be the Carnation, if you want. There's a lot of possibilities for flower painting, it's all up to you, use your imagination. This is Carlos Navarro, thank you for watching."
