The most important thing to purchase a classical guitar of course is the sound of the instrument. Now, the woods may vary on the instrument giving you the sound you may desire whether you prefer the spruce that may tend to go either brighter and clear in the box or cedar top of the guitar may tend to be more warmer and darker sounding. Of course there also is the factor of the playability of the instrument, if you're comfortable with the instrument. Many classical guitars come in various of sizes and shapes so depending on how tall you maybe or your arm length, you may you want to be comfortable in playing the classical guitar. Looks can be very deceiving. Some of great makers have a build great guitars but using very exotic woods and very appealing but the bottom line is will always will be the sound of the instrument."
