First, in order to learn the classical guitar, you will need to purchase or rent a nylon string or classical guitar that is very different than a steel string or what they call a country guitar that they use for popular steel strings. Secondly, you would also purchase a foot stool. The foot stool will enable you to learn the correct classical guitar technique raising your left leg on the foot stool thus giving you a proper technique to how to hold a classical guitar with a cock tight points that all classical guitar players use also providing correct left and right hand fingering and playing ability. Secondly, there to purchase a method book, a classical guitar method book and there are many great method books out there to teach you proper classical guitar but better yet if you are beginner classical guitarist, the best thing to do is get a classical guitar teacher that will help you with different techniques that will enable you to play classical guitar well. Also, a teacher will give you better responses to your questions and feedback promptly.
