"It's a little bit different trying to sell a used car than a new car because people always wonder why did someone trade it in. And we're blessed right now because with the information age we can go on line and pull up a car fax. A car fax report lets you know if a vehicle's been involved in an accident, if it was stolen, if it was a lemon law buy back. And when selling a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury product we can go on line to the Ford web site and we can actually pull up warranty history. We can check and see if a vehicle has a repeat problem with air conditioning, a repeat problem with transmissions. And we want to sell a car that's going to make someone happy because then they'll come back and buy a car from us again. But the information age does make it a lot easier for people to buy used cars. And at a new car dealership you're going to buy a car that's fully serviced and in most cases will qualify for a factory extended warranty. And that can give the consumer a lot of additional confidence. I think it's important to drive the vehicle, get behind the wheel. And at our dealership we're allowed to offer people the ability to take it home over night. Take it to their own mechanic. If they're afraid to let you drive the car chances are there's a reason for that and I think it's important that you drive the vehicle and use it the way you would for your normal routine. If you're going to drive on the interstate get out there and drive it on the interstate. Get an idea of will that vehicle really work for you."
