"Hi! This is Chris Bradford from Mad Dog Cycles in Orem, Utah. Today, I'll be demonstrating how to ride a BMX bike backwards. To do this, you're going to have to learn how to pedal backwards, it's really easy, you can just pause and then just practice pedaling backwards. You're going to need to remember that motion because as soon as your bike starts going backwards, you're going to have to pedal backwards so you don't fall off the bike. Next tip, is you're going to want to squat down. So, as the bike starts coming backwards, you're going to want to pretend like you're sitting down in a chair. If your seat is up high enough, you can actually sit on your seat and practice pedaling backwards as your bike is coming backwards. Easiest way to learn how to ride backwards is to find some sort of a ramp or transition to practice on, something like this works really well. You're going to ride forwards up the ramp a little bit, you're going to stop and then the back will start rolling backwards and just kind of sit down, pedal backwards and let the bike do the work. So, that's how to ride backwards on a BMX bike. It's going to take a lot of practice, it takes a lot of balance, you're not going to get it the first time but keep trying until you get it."
