"Hi I'm Kevin Russell, I'm the volleyball coach here in South Beach, Florida. In this clip we're going to give you some team building exercises. I have two people that are going to help me demonstrate. What we're going to do now is called peppering. Basically what it is is it's going to be a pass, set, hit technique. We're going to go ahead and have you start. So what we're going to try and do is they're going to try and pass, set and hit over and over. This gives you a lot of confidence with your partner. You have an idea of how they pass, how they set, how they hit and that way it gives you a really good feeling about how to trust your partner. Here, there's again passing, setting, hitting, it really works on a lot of the fundamentals that you have to work on in volleyball. Also it's great warm up and it gets you really in tune with your partner. I think next what we're going to do is we're going to go into like a one on one series. So we're going to, go ahead and stop, and we're going to have one person get on one side of the net and one on the other. And what they're going to do is basically play one on one volleyball. Now you really don't ever want to do this in a game situation but what this is doing is teaching them how to move and basically watch the other person. It's really, really good exercise to keep them moving, just keep it going, and get them moving and watching each other how they react to different things, how they are able to pass, how they can set, it's just really good with control. If you can get the ball over on one time every time and basically get it to the other partner, you have a lot of control. So we have that. And after we get this one over with, we're going to go into a serve drill. Go ahead and hold the ball. So he's going to basically come back to the serving and he's basically going to try and serve wherever his partner is standing. So if he can serve directly at his partner, it's a really, really good thing and his partner can do the same thing. Bring it back. So that's just some tips on volleyball. Once again this has been Kevin Russell in South Beach, Florida."
